We bought this book shortly after acquiring our first Ridgeback ever. This book is in extremely helpful in knowing the difference of the temperament of a dog as this breed is. What a great dog and wouldn't of fantastic book.
This is a good book I ate up all the info it had and it helped me better understand my ridge. if you have one you will know what I'm talking about. But I do recommend

There will be overlapping info but it will all tie in together. I can tell you you will need these to make life easier and not hurt your pup.

Seriously awesome book. I would definitely recommend reading this before or shortly after getting a puppy. The training and health sections are the highlights for me. This will get you most of the information you need to raise a great pup. The rest is just time and effort, and if you're reading this book, you probably won't have any issues there!
This is by far, one of THE most , if the THE MOST informative books you will find on Rhodesian Ridgeback Puppies. I have been researching this particular breed for months now and have searched the internet and read many websites on Rhodesian Ridgebacks. I could have saved a lot of time by reading her book first! EVERY question that was swimming around in my head was answered in a thorough and reader friendly style. She has so many years of experience raising these puppies and she relays all of her knowledge and information for all to read. I am more that certain, now, that this is the breed for me and my family and feel much more confident on what I may expect and what I need to do to prepare for when we bring our puppy home. I HIGHLY recommend this book to ANYONE interested in Rhodesian Ridgebacks.
I like the way this is written. I was able to enjoy reading it- not just trudge through looking for the info i wanted. You can tell the book is written by someone who loves this amazing breed but also understands their faults. This has helped me with some quirks my seven month old was displaying. Good book
If you are getting a Rhodesian Ridgeback puppy, you NEED this book. You may think you know everything there is to know about raising puppies. You could have raised hundreds of them. But every time you step into a new breed, you should always review the breed specific information.This book is the perfect companion for just that.
